About Students-For-FOXG1

This is our Official Students-For-FoxG1 Fundraising page! Led by children, for children. We are raising the money that will help us get to clinical trials! Thank you SO much for your support. 

We are Students-For-FOXG1, a group of middle school girls consisting of Aanya Mukherjee, Jillian Cheng, Arshia Sankar, Joyce He and Sanaah Pande raising awareness at Harker middle school. 

One of Aanya's close family friends Amara was diagnosed with FOXG1 not so long ago. Aanya has known Amara and her family all her life and is constantly amazed by her beautiful personality. As a young girl, Amara faces seizures often and has to attend physical and mental therapy. Amara, six now, is a wonderful person who deserves a cure so she can one day enjoy things as simple as eating pizza or going on walks- things you and I might take for granted. 


Over the years, with the support of our friends and neighbors like you, the FOXG1 Research Foundation has been able to accomplish so much fighting for Amara and other kids just like her.

For decades, this organization has pursued its mission heavily with passion, relying on you, our community! Now, we're excited to be lending my own support to their cause, and we hope you’ll join me!
